Where the Wild Things Are
Mia was a spirited girl who loved to explore. One stormy afternoon, while her family was busy, Mia discovered an old ship in her backyard, overgrown with vines. As thunder roared, Mia climbed aboard, and suddenly, the ship began to move, sailing through clouds and into a strange new world.
The ship docked at the Island of Echoes, a place filled with towering creatures that mimicked her every word. At first, Mia thought they were mocking her. “Stop that!” she shouted, and the creatures repeated her words in booming voices.
But as Mia looked closer, she saw they weren’t laughing—they were lonely. No one had ever spoken to them before. Feeling brave, Mia decided to befriend them. She taught them new phrases and games, and together they built giant forts, danced under glowing skies, and feasted on magical fruits.
One day, the sky turned gray, and the island started to crumble. The creatures panicked, echoing their fear. “We need to stay calm!” Mia shouted. She gathered the creatures, guiding them onto the ship. With their combined strength, they sailed back to her world, where they found a new home in the forest near her backyard.
From then on, Mia had the best playmates ever, and the creatures were never lonely again.
