Hey Diddle Diddle Poem

Hey, diddle, diddle,
The cat with the fiddle,
The cow leaped high past the moon.
The little dog smiled,
Amused all the while,
And the dish ran off with the spoon.

Hey, diddle, diddle,
The cat and its fiddle,
The cow soared over the moon.
The dog gave a cheer,
At the sight so queer,
While the dish fled away with the spoon.

Hey, diddle, diddle,
The cat played the fiddle,
The cow flew past the bright moon.
The dog laughed aloud,
As the dish somehow,
Escaped arm in arm with the spoon.
