The Three Little Pigs

Rate this post

Once upon a time, three little pigs lived with their mother in a cozy home. As they grew older, their mother told them, “It’s time for you to build your own homes. But remember, a strong house keeps you safe.”

The three little pigs set off on their journey, each determined to build a house. Along the way, they chose different materials based on their preferences.

The First Pig’s House: Straw
The first pig was cheerful but a bit lazy. “Straw is light and easy to build with,” he thought. So, he gathered straw and quickly built a small house. It wasn’t very strong, but the pig was proud and sang, “Home sweet home, quick and neat, this house is a lovely retreat!”

The Second Pig’s House: Sticks
The second pig wanted a slightly sturdier house but didn’t want to work too hard. He found sticks nearby and built his home. It took a little more effort, but soon it was complete. The pig admired his creation and said, “This house will do just fine!”

The Third Pig’s House: Bricks
The third pig was hardworking and wise. “A strong house needs strong materials,” he thought. He bought bricks and mortar and worked for days. When his house was finished, it stood tall and firm. He smiled, saying, “This house will keep me safe from anything!”

The Big Bad Wolf Arrives
One day, a hungry wolf wandered into the area. He sniffed the air and said, “Mmm, fresh piggies! Time for a feast.”

The wolf went to the first pig’s straw house. He knocked and growled, “Little pig, little pig, let me in!”
The pig squeaked, “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!”
The wolf bared his teeth. “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!” He blew hard, and the straw house crumbled. The first pig ran to his brother’s stick house.

The wolf followed and knocked on the stick house. “Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!”
The two pigs cried, “Not by the hairs on our chinny chin chins!”
The wolf snarled, “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!” He huffed and puffed, and the stick house shattered. Terrified, the pigs ran to their brother’s brick house.

The Brick House Stands Strong
The wolf arrived at the sturdy brick house and banged on the door. “Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!”
The three pigs shouted, “Not by the hairs on our chinny chin chins!”
The wolf growled, “Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!”

He huffed and puffed, but the brick house didn’t budge. He tried again, blowing with all his might, but the house stood firm. Exhausted and defeated, the wolf muttered, “I’ll find easier prey!” He slunk away, never to bother the pigs again.

The Lesson Learned
The three little pigs hugged each other with joy. The third pig said, “Hard work and wise choices make all the difference.”
From that day on, the pigs lived happily in the sturdy brick house, knowing they were safe and sound.

Moral of the story: Hard work and preparation create a strong foundation for success and safety.
